This patient in her mid-thirties from Boston’s north shore came to my office to discuss tummy tuck surgery to flatten her tummy and improve her waistline. I performed a full tummy tuck with tightening of her abdominal muscles and liposuction of her torso at my Boston-area practice.

Patients often come in for a consultation for breast and body contouring surgery after childbirth (called a Mommy Makeover), or after having lost significant weight by diet and exercise or with the help of bariatric surgery. Many times breast and body contouring procedures can be safely combined and performed at one surgery reducing overall recovery time. Patients often spend a night in the hospital after these procedures, although sometimes patients go home the day of surgery.
