This woman in her early 30s from Boston came to my office to discuss breast augmentation after pregnancy. Her goals from breast augmentation included correcting upper breast volume loss after pregnancy while improving her figure balance. She chose to have 300cc mid-profile silicone gel filled implants placed under the muscle (dual plane) using an incision underneath the breast (inframammary). The implants used are 50cc below her fill volume. The post-operative photographs are taken two years after surgery and one year after her youngest baby was born.

The surgery takes about an hour, and patients are ready to go home shortly after the surgery is finished. I do not use drains of tight wraps and patients often do not require narcotic pain medication. Patients generally resume normal activities within one or two days following surgery.
